Private stables shall be permitted, provided
that they are on a lot no smaller than four acres, with at least 20,000
square feet set aside and securely fenced for one horse, plus an additional
1/2 acre increase in site size per each additional horse, with at
least 10,000 square feet set aside and securely fenced for each additional
horse, with a limit of five horses, provided that all applicable standards
set forth in this chapter for farms are met, and provided that there
shall be no dwelling units in the same building in which horses are
housed. The buildings in which horses are to be stabled shall be of
a design to provide ventilation, light and drainage.
